Flying to Burlington
Burlington International Airport is about 10 minutes from downtown and services many large airports around the country.
Driving to Burlington
Burlington is located right off I-89 in northwestern Vermont, right on the shore of Lake Champlain. To head into town, get off at exit 14W and continue on RT-2 for approx. 1 mile.
Getting to Windekind Farm
By Bus
We will be offering a shuttle bus service to the ceremony/reception from all hotels. At the moment the order is as follows.
Bus 1
- Holiday Inn Express — 2:00pm
- Hilton — 2:15pm
- Willard Street Inn — 2:30pm
Buses 2 & 3
- Hawthorn Suites — 2:00pm
- Doubletree — 2:10pm
- Best Western — 2:20pm
- Sheraton — 2:30pm
By Car
If you wish to drive, it is about a 30 minute trip from Burlington to the Farm. From I-89: Take Exit 11, at the bottom of the ramp turn right onto US Route 2, heading towards Richmond. Travel approximately 1.75 miles east into Richmond. At the traffic light, turn right onto Bridge Street. Follow signs south towards Huntington (approx. 7 miles). In the village of Huntington, bear left onto East Street just past Jaques' Store. At the fork you will see a sign for Windekind Farm. Travel up East Street approx. 1.75 miles until it joins Bert White Road. Travel up Bert White Road approx 1.5 miles to the top of the hill and down into Windekind Farm. There will be signs along East Street and Bert White Road to let you know you're on the right track.
